Patton has now gained a total of 14lbs. and should be released from the hospital soon!! Dr. Angel retested his bloodwork and the results were good and he is no longer needing IV fluids. He is keeping a good appetite and making progress each day. The bad news: Patton will have to have both of his eyes removed rendering him completely blind. After much thought and consideration in the matter, EBRN decided that after having fought so hard to bring him back to from the brink of death, the only option was to continue saving his life despite the fact that saving his sight was not an option. EBRN considered the fact that being blind may not be a great quality of life for Patton, but based on the severity of his eyes, he was pretty much blind already due to lack of nutrition. He eyes basically collapsed in the sockets. Please continue to keep Patton in your thoughts and prayers as he continues to fight to get back to a healthy state. Patton has been in the care of Dr. Angel for going on 2 weeks now.

Update on Patton  He has gained 10 pounds already !! is is now 44 pounds. He's still on IV's and the Dr. may repeat blood work today, but we won't know until later. He is still weak, but thankfully, he is gaining strength everyday. Can't wait to bring him home. Thank You ALL who have donated to his care. I did receive a donation for a dog bed as well so he will have one waiting for him when he gets home. Thank You again !!!!!

Thank you! My page will continue to ask for donations for him. Hopefully once he is well he will find a friend that can be his eyes for him. I have seen other dogs do that. I just feel so bad for him and whomever done that to him needs to be in jail. Bless his heart! Thanks for all you do for the bulldogs! My page Save the English Bulldog on facebook is always ready and willing to help in any way we can.
